ReportKeep ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What We Collect

Account information: email address and password (hashed, never stored in plain text)
Job data: job titles, client names, addresses, notes, and reports you create
Photos: photos you upload are stored securely in the cloud
Voice recordings: processed locally on your device; only the text transcript is sent to our servers
Usage data: basic analytics to improve the app (page views, feature usage)

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and operate the ReportKeep service
To generate professional reports from your job data
To sync your data across devices
To improve our service through anonymised analytics

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL database and file storage), hosted in the European Union. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

4. AI Processing

ReportKeep uses AI (via OpenRouter) to generate reports and extract job information from voice and text input. Your job data is sent to AI providers solely for the purpose of generating your report. We do not use your data to train AI models.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

Supabase — database and file storage provider
OpenRouter / AI providers — for report generation only
Vercel — hosting provider

6. Your Rights

Access your data at any time via the app
Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us
Export your job data (coming soon)

7. Cookies

ReportKeep uses a single authentication token stored in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
